It is normal to feel tired when you are grieving for your loved ones. It can drain your energy and your mind. You can't think properly. All you want is to lie on your bed and do nothing. Either you stare at your stainless steel necklace, or you can stare in nowhere. It is the most common feeling for people who are experiencing a significant loss.
Anyone who is experiencing any loss in any form can feel tired every day of their life. There is a lot of tiredness that we feel every day of our life. We may not be able to recognize them because we are busy making ends meet. But the weariness of a person lingers unless it is appropriately addressed.
You may observe that tired people have this mannerism that they don't like to see people or talk to them. They want to lie in their bed or isolate themselves away from other people. Some people like to go outside and unwind when they feel suffocated inside their house. But they want to walk alone and eat alone. They don't want to be bothered by anyone because they don't want to
When we are already used to these emotions, we forget to take them out of our system. We are accustomed to the feelings that we no longer feel that it's there. We carry it every day in our lives, and sometimes we inflect it to every family member. And we don't want that to happen. That is why we need to recognize what type of tiredness we feel.
● Emotional tiredness
When you have a heavy feeling every time you wake up in the morning, that is one sign of emotional tiredness. In some cases, people who are experiencing emotional tiredness feel exhausted. They don't want to do anything and like to stay at home.
People experiencing this kind of feeling easily get depressed. They feel hopeless when they think about their future without their loved ones. And some commits suicide as a result. They are also easily annoyed with anything. That is why when you know anyone who is experiencing this. They need comfort and a listener. Be that person they need.
● Physical tiredness
If we are grieving, the first thing that any person notices is the change in our behaviour. We can't notice it because we are not dealing with it. But with what we feel. People experiencing this kind of tiredness after losing their loved ones are more likely to feel tired and restless.
Some of them may feel uneasy and can't concentrate. The longer the grief stays in our system, the longer we will experience these kinds of changes in our bodies. It can lead to irritability and sleep disturbance. That might result in a severe illness. That is why we need to understand what kind of tiredness we feel after losing a loved one to address it adequately.
● Mental Tiredness
Letting go of pain is the process done not only by emotions but also with our minds. Thinking of positive things ahead of us can quickly eliminate all the fears and worries we have in our future. But if the mind is restless. It can not function the way it should be.
Mental exhaustion has many causes. It can be because of our work, relationship status, financial status and many more. But mental tiredness can be seen in people who have lost their hopes after the passing of a loved one. Some of these people are closing their minds on the things that will wake them up in reality.
Thus, they are making so many excuses and believing in their own make-up stories. It is to show other people that they are doing fine and they don't need help. Some of them, as you may observe, are mostly unfocus. They are avoiding topics about their grief and the person involved. They think when they avoid talking about their pain, they can quickly get over it. But the longer we linger on it, the more it hunts us until we can no longer get out of it.
It is better to know why we are tired. We need to know the causes of this tiredness or exhaustion. In that way, we can help ourselves to do better in the future. Everything is connected. When the mind is already exhausted from grieving, it will connect through the heart and penetrate an emotion. It can worsen the current feeling of the person, or it would be for the better.
Once the person already feels
the pain and grieves about it. That will result in physical tiredness. A person
can be lazy or can be traumatic. The sadness and pain that a person feels inside
their heart can result in physical changes. It will manifest on their outer
body. But at the end of everything, we take care of our body and health. That
is the only way we can free ourselves from all these kinds of tiredness in
life.
